Role description:

Arcadis is looking for a Project Manager with prior experience in the Decommissioning of Fuel Service Stations,with an engineering or geology background, who will be working in supporting the team involved in delivering results for one the major players in the oil industry.

Role accountabilities:

• Organize and plan demolition activities for fuel service stations, including the preparation of work plans, resource management, and scheduling.
• Coordinate operational teams on site, supervising both external contractors and internal personnel.
• Manage projects in compliance with contractual requirements, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Liaise with the client and technical stakeholders, providing updates on work progress and managing any critical issues.
• Supervise permitting processes, including the preparation of documentation required for permits and certifications.
• Monitor costs and control the project budget.
• Ensure correct classification, disposal, and traceability of waste in accordance with current legislation.
• Prepare technical reports and project close-out documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Management, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5-8 years of proven working experience in managing demolition projects, preferably in the field of fuel service stations or industrial plants.
• Excellent Italian knowledge and Good English knowledge.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, workplace safety laws (e.g., D.Lgs. 81/08), and procedures related to remediation and waste disposal.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in main project management software and MS Office suite.
• Valid driving license (category B) and willingness to travel within the territory.
