About The Role:
About the Role
We're seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead and deliver mid-sized security system projects (typically £200k-£1m). This role covers all phases-from tender review to technical handover-specialising in CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and related security infrastructure.
Ideal for candidates who:
- Have a strong track record managing electronic security systems projects.
- Can confidently handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Possess excellent stakeholder and subcontractor management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, handover.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and contractor teams.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and installation groups.
- Ensure compliance with NSI/BAFE/British Standards.
- Act as primary client liaison-intelligent and responsive.
- Supervise on-site progress, health & safety, and quality assurance.
Must-Have Experience
- Proven delivery of complex security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms), £200k-£1m+ project values.
- At least 5 years in electronic fire/security project roles.
- Knowledge of NSI/BAFE/industry standards and codes of practice.
- Strong technical background covering CCTV, access control, intruder alarm installation & commissioning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
