Ocean Infinity is seeking Commercial Project Managers.
The Commercial Project Manager is the single accountable owner for end-to-end project delivery, responsible for scope, schedule, safety, cost, quality, and client satisfaction from tender handover through to project close-out. This role sits at the centre of cross-functional delivery, integrating Marine, Service Delivery, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless execution and a unified client experience. The Commercial Project Manager is empowered to lead, coordinate, and optimise all aspects of project delivery, supported by digital tools, automation, and a streamlined governance framework.

The Commercial Project Manager is empowered to lead, coordinate, and optimise all aspects of project delivery, supported by digital tools, automation, and a streamlined governance framework.
What you will do:
- Lead projects through all phases, from tender handover and planning to mobilisation, execution, reporting, and close-out;
- Coordinate resources across Marine, Service Delivery, Finance, and Commercial to align with project scope, schedule, and budget;
- Communicate on project progress, following reporting and governance processes defined by Ocean Infinity's operating model;
- Analyse project status, managing risks, issues, and challenges, and escalate where necessary to ensure successful delivery.
End-to-End Project Leadership
- Lead the delivery of assigned vessel or multi-vessel projects, owning all aspects of scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction;
- Act as the single point of contact for the client throughout the project lifecycle, managing all communications, updates, and issue resolution;
- Plan and coordinate across Fleet Operations, Service Delivery, and Finance to ensure readiness, alignment, and successful mobilisation;
- Chair project meetings (kick-off, weekly syncs, client reviews, close-out), ensuring clear actions, accountability, and progress tracking.
Commercial & Financial Management
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and change control in partnership with the Cost Controller;
- Responsible for working with the Commercial team on upselling and cross-selling services to clients to drive higher revenue out of potential projects by activity seeking out opportunities on current projects;
- Maintain accurate financial oversight, including cost tracking, variance analysis, milestone billing, and revenue recognition;
- Proactively identify and manage commercial risks, contract variations, and scope changes, ensuring margin protection and compliance with contractual terms.
Integrated Project Delivery
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans and schedules, aligning operational and technical milestones across all functions;
- Oversee mobilisation, offshore operations, data acquisition, reporting, and demobilisation, ensuring all prerequisites and deliverables are met;
- Consolidate and review deliverables with Service Delivery teams, ensuring client specifications and quality standards are achieved;
Governance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with company standards, governance checkpoints, and documentation requirements;
- Oversee project reporting, risk management, and lessons learned capture, using digital tools and dashboards for real-time visibility;
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing feedback, sharing lessons learned, and contributing to the evolution of project management processes and templates.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for Ocean Infinity's delivery model;
- Influence and align internal stakeholders, including Marine, Service Delivery, Finance, and Commercial, to resolve issues and secure resources;
- Mentor and guide Deputy Project Managers and support upskilling of junior team members as the function scales.
Escalation & Issue Management
- Own the escalation process for operational, commercial, or delivery risks, coordinating cross-functional responses and recovery plans;
- Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams during escalations, ensuring timely resolution and transparency.
Who you are:
- Proven experience delivering complex, client facing projects from contract or tender handover through to completion;
- Recognised project management qualification or equivalent practical experience (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, APMP);
- Experience taking full accountability for project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction;
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including operational, technical, finance, and commercial functions;
- Strong commercial project management experience, including budget management, forecasting, cost control, change management, and milestone billing;
- Direct experience managing client relationships, risks, issues, and formal project reporting;
- Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills
- High level of commercial and financial awareness;
- Excellent planning, problem-solving, and decision-making ability
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to manage pressure, change, and escalation in operational environments;
- Proactive, accountable, and client focused approach.
Desirable:
- Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Marine Operations, or a related discipline;
- Experience delivering projects in offshore, maritime, or vessel-based environments, working closely with vessel operations, offshore crews, and onshore service delivery teams.
