An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Global Regulatory Project Manager (f/m/div) within the Regulatory Excellence & Strategy group in Life Science at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. In this role, you will leverage your strong project management expertise to solve complex regulatory challenges and orchestrate cross-functional collaboration across a global organization.
You are able to choose and apply the right project management approach for the right problem - from design and implementation to continuous improvement. You confidently manage a portfolio of projects, structure work, and align stakeholders towards clear outcomes.
You have a proven track record in facilitating virtual meetings and in-person workshops, including independently leading Kaizen Burst events. You enjoy navigating a diverse, global matrix organization, building networks, and enabling teams to deliver measurable impact.

Job requirements
- Doctoral degree (PhD) in Chemistry or Life Sciences preferred; a Master's degree with strong relevant experience will also be considered
- Proven experience as a project manager in the Life Science industry
- Project Management Professional (PMP, PMI) or comparable project management certification
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (L&SS)
- Design for Six Sigma (DfSS) Green Belt
- Demonstrated expertise in process optimization and operational excellence
- Proven experience in planning, leading and following up Kaizen Burst events
- Strong networking, stakeholder management and communication skills across functions and cultures
- Strong change management skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive adoption
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
