This is a fixed term opportunity until July 2026.
What you'll do:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of HEIF-funded and associated projects, from initiation to close
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, risks, and success criteria in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders
- Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring delivery to time, budget, and quality standards
- Develop and maintain robust project plans, reports, and documentation
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change, escalating where appropriate
- Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Integrate new programmes into University operations and planning systems
- Champion best practice in project management and continuous improvement
Is this you?:
- Significant experience leading complex business transformation or change projects end-to-end
- Strong knowledge of project management frameworks and governance
- Confident managing and influencing multiple stakeholders, including senior leaders and external partners
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively
- Strong commercial, financial, and analytical skills
- Experience working in higher education, legal, or regulated environments is desirable
- A project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, PMI-ACP) is desirable
- Knowledge and understanding of HEIF and research funding is desirable
