Job Description

Costain will provide management and engineering expertise to support the client organisation, via an integrated Contract Management Office for the planning and delivery of over 40 projects in a five-year period. We will also be responsible for the delivery of design and site works on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis.

Based between our office in Manchester and the client's site in Chester, with some site based and hybrid working roles, we have flexible work options.

• Ensuring the project is delivered safely, within Budget, on programme and to the required Quality
• Managing a dedicated professional team integrated with the Clients team
• Ownership of the packages and disciplines
• Delivering to budget and production targets, programme, and specification
• Owning the relationship and maintain a liaison with the client and the supply chain
• Supporting the manager and the staff under your control
• Maintaining a good working relationship with the Client and associated personnel
• Being conversant with all drawings, specifications, and relevant information for works package

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential

• Highly experienced at delivering complex construction programmes
• Construction focussed with proven delivery record
• Ability to work flexibly in the north-west (site based role)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with P6 and MS Planner
• Experienced line manager
• Ability to gain and hold minimum of SC Clearance
• Experience of working in highly regulated environments
• Adept at managing a range of specialist stakeholders
• Advanced familiarity of NEC contract

Qualifications

Essential

• Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in a M&E or Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering
• Relevant CSCS Card
