This new part-time (0.4 FTE) post is available immediately on a permanent basis, with a funding review date of 31 December 2030.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus (Exeter, Streatham) and some from home.
Summary of the role
This role is part of a new team within Research Services at the University, which provides support to academics across their project lifecycles. As Project Manager, you will work alongside and support Professor Flemming and the project team on the Wellcome funded grant Pustules And Pandemics From Galen To Rhazes: How to do the Early History of Smallpox and Measles. The project will be based in the Centre for Cultures and Environments of Health (CCEH) on the Streatham campus.
The role holder will provide essential organisational support for the project, including supporting the leadership team with the recruitment and management of posts, financial admininstration, communication, and the overall delivery of the project's activities and outputs: arranging events and meetings, organising tarvel as required.
