SpaMedica & Freedom Vision continue to expand and modernise at pace - and our ability to deliver well-run, impactful projects is essential to enabling high-quality patient and staff experiences. We're now looking for an outstanding Project Manager to lead key clinical and non-clinical initiatives that support the evolution of our services, systems and ways of working.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, organised and collaborative project professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering projects that create meaningful operational and patient-focused improvements.

About the Role

As a Project Manager within the Business Improvement function, you will own the full project lifecycle - from initiation and planning to delivery and closure. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, maintain clear project documentation, and ensure stakeholders remain engaged and informed throughout.

For this recruitment, we are specifically seeking candidates with proven experience in Digital Transformation or IT Infrastructure & Architecture, reflecting the strategic direction of the organisation and the technical complexity of upcoming programmes.

What You'll Lead & Deliver

Project Delivery
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of operational, digital and technology-related projects, ensuring outputs are on time, within budget and within scope
  • Create, maintain and track detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and supporting documents
  • Confidently facilitate project meetings, workshops and cross-functional sessions

Risk, Governance & Communication
  • Identify, log and manage risks and issues, escalating appropriately
  • Provide regular progress reporting to stakeholders and senior leaders
  • Ensure transparent, consistent and timely communication across all involved teams

Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Coordinate project team members, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities and follow-up actions
  • Foster a positive team culture and strong cross-functional relationships
  • Work closely with vendors, technical SMEs and clinical/operational teams as needed

Process & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support the development of updated workflows
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete and version-controlled
  • Drive adoption of structured methodologies such as Prince2 or Agile where appropriate

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing medium-to-large scale projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong background in Digital Transformation or IT Infrastructure & Architecture
  • Proven experience delivering complex digital or technology-enabled projects
  • Prince2 and/or Agile certification (essential)
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time-management skills
  • Confident communicator with experience facilitating workshops and meetings
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar)
  • Experience in healthcare or contact centre environments is desirable but not essential
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification, business process mapping skills or change management experience are advantageous

Why SpaMedica?
  • A values-driven organisation committed to improving patient outcomes
  • Opportunities to influence meaningful change across clinical, operational and digital areas
  • Supportive culture with a strong emphasis on collaboration and professional development
  • A growing organisation with clear progression pathways
