Do you want to make a positive difference to Sheffield and its residents? Are you looking for a new challenge? If you are a Project Manager with experience of working in construction, then the Capital Delivery Service at Sheffield City Council has the perfect opportunity for you.
One of the largest in-house Capital Delivery teams in local government, the service delivers a wide range of capital building and infrastructure projects and programmes. These range from minor capital maintenance works to major new builds and area regeneration schemes. These range in value from £100k to £50m.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.

- Post holders will be APMP or Prince 2 qualified; OR, Substantial experience (minimum 3 years) of successful project management in a multidisciplinary or construction context.
- Post holders will be members of the Association of Project Managers OR be willing to work towards achieving this
