We are seeking a Project Manager - Innovation with Bachelor's degree, preferably in Project Management (specialized), Business, Innovation, Computer Science or a related field.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience managing projects in innovation, R&D, Agri-tech, or a related technical environment.
- Experience working across cross-functional teams and with external partners or vendors.
- Exposure to agriculture, sustainability, or technology innovation projects is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
Functional:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of assigned R&D and innovation projects, from scoping, approval, and planning to execution, reporting, and scaling.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to define objectives, timelines, KPIs, and resource needs.
- Coordinate activities across departments (e.g., Science, Labs, Field Ops, Commercial, Legal, Finance, Procurement, Digital, PMO) to ensure project alignment and delivery.
- Track project milestones, timelines, and risks, and flag any delays or blockers to leadership for resolution.
- Maintain clear and consistent project documentation, including business case, scope of work, task tracking, meeting notes, and status reports.
- Support the setup and execution of trials, field pilots, and validation activities by coordinating logistics and stakeholder inputs.
Financial Management:
- Support project budgeting and cost tracking with guidance from the PMO and finance teams.
- Monitors spend against budget and in-kind contributions, flag potential overruns or funding needs early.
- Ensure procurement and vendor contracting is aligned with project timelines and deliverables.
People Management:
- Act as a key coordination point between internal teams and external collaborators (e.g., researchers, startups, universities, solution providers, government entities) across the project lifecycle
- Build strong working relationships across all functions to ensure accountability and shared understanding of project goals.
- Support partner onboarding, documentation, and milestone tracking for co-delivered projects.
- Ensure that communications are clear, timely, and aligned with governance requirements.
