The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager, Look Wayfinding and Signage to join our City Activations team, working hand in hand with our LOK contractor to oversee the progress and processes of our Look, Wayfinding & Signage (LOK) workstream.
Look, Wayfinding and Signage is the visual system that will bring Glasgow 2026 to life for everyone who visits the Games. It includes the overall look and feel (colours, graphics, typography and icons), the wayfinding that guides athletes, spectators and officials from place to place, and the signage that delivers clear information for audiences at the right moment. It will play a critical role in expressing the Glasgow 2026 brand on the world stage, turning our venues and public spaces into a unified, memorable expression of the Games identity and values.
Job Summary:
As Senior Project Manager, Look Wayfinding and Signage you will be responsible for assuring delivery of the LOK contract by implementing and managing processes for progress tracking, change control, record keeping, and sign off following finalised application plans. Acting as the key liaison between OC functional areas and the turnkey supplier, you will ensure all plans are integrated and delivered to agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. As part of the senior LOK team, you will support a "One Team" approach, working closely with the Programme Delivery Team to monitor workstream progress, contribute to executive reporting, supports budget tracking and cross-programme alignment, and act as a point of contact for scope definition. This role requires flexibility, including evening and weekend work during peak periods.
Key Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role you will bring experience working within project management at multi-sport and/or major events. You will have proven experience in event delivery, overlay, production, and project management on major projects, with strong capability in designing and implementing processes to accurately track and report progress. This role requires an understanding of Games environments, Look of the Games and Wayfinding programmes, and experience managing multiple suppliers within blended teams of staff, contractors, and freelancers. Your key strengths will include excellent communication, working within structured sign-off and artwork approval processes, thriving in fast paced deadline driven environments, and delivering effective budget control, reporting, and financial forecasting. Experience working in or with organising committees, broadcast, brand production, or overlay will be advantageous.
