About us:
The C3L is the University of Oldenburg's advanced scientific training centre for in-service further education. Our aim is to create sustainable and effective learning experiences for our students - we focus on flexible and interactive learning formats that are supported by our own online learning environment.

Your tasks:
An energy transition pilot network is being set up at the C3L of the University of Oldenburg. The north-west of Germany will be particularly affected by the transformation processes of the energy transition (e.g. expansion of wind energy, production of green hydrogen, changes to the harbour infrastructure, new industrial settlements and pipeline construction). The transformation processes of the energy transition are met with ignorance, uncertainty or rejection by many people. Information, education and participation are therefore key factors for the success of the energy transition. The project "Municipal guides as multipliers for the energy transition" aims to promote the dissemination of well-founded information and discussions on energy transition topics through the participation of citizens. As part of the project, "energy transition pilots" are qualified to provide information in various event formats, initiate communication processes and promote citizen participation in the municipalities.

As a project manager (m/f/d), you will plan and develop the training programmes to qualify the energy transition pilots. Your tasks will include
  • At the end of the project, you will develop and conceptualise the new further training offer (including needs analyses, learning outcomes, learning design, types of examination, curriculum, acquisition of lecturers).
  • Together with our Communications and Sales department, you will plan a communications strategy and organise measures to market the new offering.
  • You will network with stakeholders, maintain regular dialogue with project partners and representatives of the metropolitan region and represent further education to the outside world.
  • You will plan the piloting of the new further education programme and advise interested parties and participants.
  • You will manage the measures for quality assurance and continuous improvement of the new further education programme.
  • You will be responsible for project management including finances, communication with the funding body and reporting.

Your profile:
Recruitment requirements
  • You have a relevant, completed academic university degree (Dipl. (Uni) / Master).
  • You have experience in the planning, development or coordination of education or training programmes.
  • You have knowledge of the energy and sustainability sector and current developments in the energy transition.

Desirable
  • You enjoy working creatively and developing new ideas in advanced scientific training.
  • You work independently and transparently and can prioritise sensibly.
  • You are characterised by your service-oriented way of working with interested parties, participants and lecturers.

We offer:
  • Remuneration according to collective agreement (TV-L) incl. special annual payment; company pension scheme (VBL) and capital-forming benefits
  • 30 days holiday, 24.12. and 31.12. off work
  • Flexible working hours and the option to work from home on a pro rata basis
  • Access to university childcare and holiday care
  • A wide range of free continuing education programmes, company health promotion services and other service, counselling and sports offers
  • A modern workplace in a convenient location with free parking and good public transport connections
  • A good infrastructure with canteen, cafeterias and library as well as shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood
  • Interesting contacts on a lively campus
  • A great team with flat hierarchies
