ABOUT THE JOB
Job purpose
As aProject Manager,you play a key role in enabling MSIG Europe's strategic transformation agenda. Rather than delivering isolated change, you drive initiatives that reshape processes, systems and ways of working to support the long-term strategy of the MSIG Europe legal entity.
You take end-to-end ownership of transformation initiatives, guiding them from concept through to sustainable delivery and adoption. Acting as a trusted partner to the business and IT, you ensure alignment between strategic objectives, operational execution and technology enablement.
The project portfolio spans a wide range of initiatives, from focused improvements with limited budgets and timelines to complex, multi-year transformation programmes that have a significant impact on the organisation.
The role requires a strong understanding of the Financial Services environment and occasional travel across MSIG Europe countries.
You will report directly to the Head of Project Management, within the Project Portfolio Management function, reporting up to the MSIGEU COO. In addition, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, reflecting the cross-functional and enterprise-wide nature of the initiatives you lead.

Key Responsibilities - This is where you come in
- Lead and represent one large transformation project / programme or multiple smaller initiatives within the MSIGEU transformation portfolio.
- Enable the business in shaping future-state solutions by driving requirements definition, RFP processes and vendor selection, with accountability for end-to-end outcomes and benefit realisation.
- Act as an integrator across business, IT and external partners, ensuring alignment with MSIGEU's target operating model and architectural principles.
- Ensure that transformed processes and solutions are compliant with MSIGEU governance, procedures and control frameworks.
- Drive transparency and engagement by communicating progress, risks and dependencies across project teams and impacted functions.
- Manage delivery within agreed scope, time and budget, while proactively escalating when strategic decisions or interventions are required.
- Apply strong project and transformation management disciplines, including scoping, planning, RAID management, dependency tracking, financial control and stakeholder reporting (e.g. SteerCo updates and financial tracking)

- Advanced stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior management and engaging operational teams.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and align teams around a shared transformation vision.
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies and modern ways of working.
- Structured and disciplined, while remaining flexible in dynamic environments.
- Willingness to work in an international context, with regular travel within Western Europe.
Knowledge and experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience and knowledge in project management and business transformation, either in-house or in a consulting environment.
- Knowledge of insurance products and end-to-end insurance processes is a strong advantage.
- Experience with RFP processes and managing external vendors (software providers, consulting partners, etc.).
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, combined with Dutch, French and/or German.
