About this vacancy

At TMC, you work as an entrepreneur within the technology and manufacturing industry. You have the freedom to lead complex technical projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to innovation across the full spectrum of the sector. This includes environments such as high-tech, machinery manufacturing, energy, defense, industrial automation, and production and process environments. As a Project Manager, you are responsible for delivering technical projects from the concept phase to industrialization and mass production. You operate at the intersection of technology, production processes, quality, customer interests, and innovation, ensuring that projects meet technical specifications, operational requirements, and business objectives. Tasks and responsibilities: - Lead multidisciplinary project teams - Develop and monitor project plans (scope, time, budget, quality) - Stakeholder management: both internal and external - Conduct risk analyses, resource planning, and progress reporting - Manage suppliers and external partners - Transparent communication and reporting to clients and management - Initiate improvement projects - Evaluate technical concepts for LCoE, risks, and feasibility - Ensure compliance with engineering standards and contractual requirements

What we expect from you

We are looking for someone who combines technical expertise with leadership and oversight. You don't need to have years of experience as a project manager; if you already have experience leading technical teams or projects, we will help you grow. You have: - At least 5 years of experience in a technical role (e.g., Lead Engineer, Architect, Project Leader) - Experience with product development, NPI, or industrialization is a plus - Education level: HBO/WO (Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Electrical Engineering) - Knowledge of project management methodologies - Strong communication skills and stakeholder management - Affinity with production processes and high-tech systems - Languages: Dutch (minimum B2) and English (German is a plus)
