You'll start by delivering impactful internal projects within our Service Management team, while supporting newly won work. As fresh Defence programmes come online, you'll step in from the very beginning, becoming the go to for a major long-term IT service management project. A key part of your role will be leading the smooth transition of an existing service from a previous supplier into MASS.

If you want to take ownership, drive meaningful change, and grow into a trusted expert, this is the opportunity to do it.

    • PMO governance, reporting, and project controls are consistently applied and maintained.
    • The service transition from the outgoing supplier into MASS is managed end-to-end, with minimal disruption and a smooth operational handover.
    • All project outputs transition seamlessly into BAU operations.
    • Support models, runbooks, SLAs, and processes are fully aligned and ready.
    • Project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting meet PMO standards and remain accurate throughout.
    • Technical, commercial, and contractual elements of supplier migration are controlled and delivered successfully.
    • Project risks, issues, and dependencies are proactively identified, tracked, and mitigated.

The invaluable experience you'll bring, to help us achieve more.

    Essential

    • Have a proven track record delivering end to end technical or service-based projects, including medium scale delivery and managing complex dependencies across multiple teams.
    • Experience operating in service management or ITIL aligned environments, including transitioning services between suppliers or into new operational settings.
    • Strong knowledge of PMO governance, structured delivery methodologies, Agile and Waterfall, and recognised project management best practice.
    • Competence in risk management, financial control, budget/schedule management, and supplier management.
    • APM PMQ or PRINCE2 Practitioner (minimum expected).
    • ITIL Foundation
    • 3-5+ years relevant project management experience.
    • Willing to obtain Security Clearance (SC) (Minimum) and Developed Vetting (DV).

    Desirable

    • Experience working within Defence or Government
