We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Construction Project Management Office Lead.

You will be responsible for leading the Project Management Office for the client's real estate development portfolio within the London Metro. Acting in the client role, this role ensures consistent governance, reporting, cost and schedule control across all development and construction projects, from design through handover. The role focuses on portfolio oversight, decision support, and performance assurance, rather than day-to-day site management.

In this role you'll:

• Establish and manage the client's Construction PMO framework, standards, and governance model
• Define project lifecycle stages, approval gates, and investment control processes
• Ensure alignment between development strategy, business plans, and project execution
• Oversee high-level cost plans, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and contingency management
• Review and challenge schedules, progress reports, and forecasts submitted by external PMs, consultants, and contractors
• Lead portfolio-level risk management, including commercial, design, construction, and market risks
• Implement and manage project management and reporting systems (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, Power BI)
• Act as the client's governance authority over external project managers, cost consultants, and design teams

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Extensive experience in real estate development or construction project management
• Previous role experience in Project Management, Program Management, or Portfolio Oversight role
• Strong experience working client-side / developer-side on capital projects
• A consultative mindset with robust business partnering skills
• Experience driving PMO maturity and continuous improvement across the real estate function
• The ability to present clear, concise updates to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
• Experience developing dashboards and reports
