About the role...

Cooper Parry Digital are looking to hire a Technical Project Manager to manage the delivery of development projects of all sizes, ensure requirements from customers and internal teams are resourced appropriately, and to work with management to implement a strategy to bring together two development teams into a single, effective team.

About the day to day...
  • Ensure requests from project managers and functional consultants are distributed to the correct developers, based on their skillset, experience and workload, to ensure efficient and effective delivery, to a gold standard.
  • Manage the day-to-day schedule of each developer, ensuring they have development work queued in an efficient and manageable fashion, and any availability is communicated to the internal teams to maximise their utilisation.
  • Manage project budgets to ensure deliverables are met against budget.
  • Communicate with customers, internal project managers and functional consultants with updates for deliverables, timelines and issues.
  • Use your experience to recommend best practices, tools and processes across the development function to drive CPD towards being the best.
  • Assist in identifying training and upskill opportunities across the team for NetSuite, integration technologies and other relevant skills.
  • Assist the head of development in delivering the strategy to build a best in class development team.
  • Be the glue between the development team and the development lead to ensure an effective line of communication.

You'll continuously strive to keep learning - whether you're a trainee or a Partner - and you'll be brave, stepping out of your comfort zone to tackle new challenges. Above all, be nice. A simple notion, but an irreplaceable part of what makes CP, CP.

In addition to those core values, as a Technical Project Manager you should;
  • Strong experience in managing development teams with a great understanding of a typical development lifecycle. Experience in managing integrations, with Boomi and Celigo experience helpful.

  • Problem-solving skills to ensure issues are dealt with quickly and development projects keep moving at pace.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to lead internal and external teams.
  • An obsession with quality and driving standards across the team.
  • Excited by an opportunity to make a difference and an immediate impact in embedding two developments into a single, best in class team.
