This role will support delivery of the ONEHEALTH project. ONEHEALTH is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB)
About the job:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Queen's Research as a Project Manager, playing a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our world-class research portfolio.
Working within a dynamic team, you will provide high-level project management support across a diverse range of regional, national, and internationally funded programmes (including UKRI and EU schemes). You will act as a strategic partner to academic leads, guiding projects through their entire lifecycle, from ensuring resources are correctly scoped at the pre-award stage to managing budgets, risks, compliance, and audits during delivery.
This role goes beyond standard project administration. You will have the opportunity to shape the University's wider research culture by helping to develop and lead a Project Management Community of Practice. In this capacity, you will drive continuous improvement, share best practice, and raise delivery standards across the institution.

About the person:
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following essential criteria:
- Honours degree or equivalent.
- Significant relevant experience and expertise in the successful provision of project management services within a business or academic environment.
- Experience of working with Higher Education funding from UKRI, EU or other Government bodies.
- Experience of developing and implementing project management processes and procedures for a range of UKRI/EU/government funded programmes.
- Experience of the co-ordination and delivery of Claims, Reports and associated Audits to a variety of funding bodies or government agencies.
- Experience of successfully developing and cultivating partnerships and alliances.
- Experience of networking and building relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including industry and commerce, government departments and agencies and business and public bodies, to deliver, influence and impact organisational strategy.
