As Senior Pre-Construction Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in winning work, shaping solutions, and ensuring every project is set up for success from day one. You'll lead the front-end process, from early client engagement and design development through to tendering, programming, value engineering, and handover to delivery teams.

About The Role

• Lead the full pre-construction process across multiple office fit-out and refurbishment projects
• Work closely with clients, designers, estimators, and project teams to develop robust, innovative project solutions
• Oversee design development, ensuring proposals are buildable, commercially viable, and aligned with client objectives
• Prepare and manage tender submissions, technical proposals, and bid documentation
• Lead value engineering exercises to optimise cost, programme, and quality
• Develop project programmes and phasing strategies
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical information to identify risks, opportunities, and design gaps
• Support the estimating team with pricing, subcontractor engagement, and procurement strategy
• Present proposals to clients with confidence, clarity, and commercial insight
• Ensure a seamless handover to delivery teams, providing ongoing support where required
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Drive continuous improvement across pre-construction processes and standards

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a Pre-Construction Manager or Senior Pre-Construction role within design & build or commercial fit-out
• Strong technical understanding of CAT A/CAT B office fit-out, M&E systems, and construction methodology
• Ability to lead design development and challenge solutions to achieve the best commercial and technical outcomes
• Excellent understanding of tendering, procurement, and estimating processes
• Confident communicator with the ability to present proposals and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance cost, quality, and programme
• Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellence
