General ManagementThe Interface Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, and stakeholder teams to ensure alignment with Project goals and objectives. This role is critical to minimizing risks, managing scope boundaries, and ensuring timely delivery of integrated project components. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, experience in interface coordination, and a solid understanding of mining operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordinate interfaces between engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Apply risk-based approaches to minimize delays, scope gaps, and risks.
• Develop and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs) to define roles, responsibilities, accountabilities and acceptance criteria.
• Establish and manage change processes at construction interfaces, including scope clarifications and change order management across 6 EPCm teams.
• Track and report interface status using dashboards and risk logs to enhance transparency and issue resolution across 6 EPCm teams.
• Support stakeholder engagement and facilitate communication across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively across many teams to align technical strategies
QUALIFICATIONS: • Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in engineering role with at least 2 years’ experience on interface management in large capital projects.
• Professional certification in engineering or project management is preferred.
• Skills & Competencies
• Strong understanding of mining operations and engineering principles.
• Strong understanding of stakeholder management and integrated project delivery.
• Proficiency in project management tools and documentation systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing project environment.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and lead across functional and project departments.
