Lead one of the UK's biggest FM transformations. Shape the future of retirement living.
McCarthy Stone is the UK's leading developer and manager of retirement communities, supporting over 22,000 homeowners across 560+ developments nationwide. Our purpose is simple but powerful: to help older people live independently, safely and happily - and we're proud of the positive difference we make every day.
We're now looking for a Head of Procurement - FM to take ownership of a £50m spend portfolio and lead a once-in-a-generation transformation of our Facilities Management supply chain.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact, senior role with real autonomy. You'll lead the overhaul of our Hard FM model, consolidating a fragmented supply base into 4-8 national and regional partners, with go-live planned for Autumn 2026. You'll own the journey end-to-end: tendering, contracting, mobilisation and ongoing performance.
Alongside this, you'll unlock significant value across Soft FM and Indirects - a greenfield category with huge opportunity to improve quality, cost, innovation and sustainability.

What You'll Bring
Experience in housing, landlord & tenant legislation, leaseholder environments or private equity is desirable but not essential.
