General ManagementAre you an experienced procurement leader who can build professionalize, and lead our Global Clinics Procurement function, serving approximately 180 clinis globally?
This position plays a pivotal role in transforming a historically decentralized procurement landscape with individual clinics managing their own suppliers, into a future-fit, centralized model focused on direct materials and finished goods essential for patient care, while maintaining strong partnerships with clinical and operational stakeholders.
The scope includes Prosthetics, Orthotics, Shoes, Insoles, materials, tools, and other finished goods used in clinical environments.
Indirect procurement is not part of this role.
This position will have 2 direct reports based in Poland and report into our VP Procurement based in Eindhoven office.

Your Role
Define & Execute Global Clinics Procurement Strategy
- Develop and own the global procurement strategy for clinics, focused on direct materials and finished goods.
- Establish category strategies that balance cost optimization, quality, regulatory compliance, and continuity of patient care.
- Align sourcing strategies across Europe and the US, respecting regulatory and market differences.
Build & Lead the Clinics Procurement Organization
- Design and implement a centralized procurement operating model for clinics.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team including Category Managers and a Buyer/Analyst.
- Serve as a member of the Global Clinics Leadership Team.
Stakeholder Leadership & Change Management
- Lead the transition from local clinic buying to structured, centralized procurement.
- Build strong relationships with clinic leaders, clinicians, operations, finance, and quality.
- Drive adoption of standardized suppliers, contracts, and processes while maintaining trust and engagement.
- Act as a change leader in a decentralized environment.
Supplier Strategy, Risk & Compliance Management
- Establish preferred supplier frameworks and long-term strategic partnerships.
- Ensure supply continuity and risk mitigation for patient-critical products.
- Partner with Legal, Quality, and Regulatory to ensure compliance with EU MDR, FDA, and other regulations.
Value Creation & Performance Management
- Deliver measurable value through savings, cost avoidance, standardization, and working-capital improvements.
- Provide reporting to executive leadership on procurement performance and transformation progress.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Introduce best practices in category management, supplier management, and analytics.
Who are you
- 6+ years of management experience in procurement, with strong exposure to direct materials and finished goods.
- Proven experience building or transforming procurement organizations, ideally in healthcare, med-tech, or regulated industries.
- Strong leadership and people-development skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation, commercial, and supplier management capabilities.
- Strategic and analytical mindset.
- Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Technical field, or similar; CIPS/MCIPS is an advantage.
