Your new role

The Digital Center of Excellence is responsible for configuration, managing development, managing interfaces in and out of hybris and managing the regional template for hybris and any regional digital solutions. Also responsible for application change management and system governance. Key partners include the local (country-specific) IT Demand teams for digital, and the CoE will serve as SPOC to the digital business for other IT teams - including, but not limited to other functional CoEs, basis, infrastructure and security.

You will be responsible with defining, preparing, leading and executing projects, in line with business needs and project- and team management methods and techniques, in order to deliver projects according to objectives.

Key responsibilities of your role.

  • Identify and collect ideas, analyse business needs, stakeholders and linkages to other projects, define project scope and objectives and determine project feasibility
  • Ensure the requirements of the internal clients are made explicit. Challenge requirements in view of Albert Heijn targets. Select resources and the project team, in line with the project goals and budget requirements.
  • Formulate the project plan (may include resourcing, planning, risk mitigation, quality control and organisational requirements), determine budget and acquire approval, in line with project objectives.
  • Manage project execution, coordinate all involved internal and external parties and monitor consistency with the project plan and approved changes.
  • Analyze, determine and manage a risk-, issue-, management- and quality plan. Monitor and control (and steer) the realisation of deliverables in line with explicit quality agreements, standards, budget and guidelines.
  • Ensure the closure of projects for all stakeholders, including project documentation, closure material, the definition of potential follow-up activities and handing the
  • project over to the business.
  • Identify and analyze lessons learned.
  • Keep up to date with relevant developments within the field of expertise/sector, and the strategy and policy of Albert Heijn.
  • Identify knowledge gaps in own department/discipline and ensure the development and exchange of knowledge.
  • Ensure/prepare, explain and follow up on project management reports, in line with global reporting standards and/or local requirements
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and -satisfaction, cooperate with internal and external stakeholders to realize project goals.
  • Provide advice while maintaining the right balance between conflicting interests.

Requirements.

We think you'll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
• Proven knowledge of recent and modern architecture, techniques, methods, products and services within the field of working.
• Relevant experience with Agile and release management in a complex (multi-vendor) environment
• Relevant experience and knowledge of ITIL
• Knowledge and experience with budgeting and cost responsibility processes
