About the Role

Uber's EMEA Product and Commercial Legal team is looking for a versatile, detail-oriented Project Manager (Commercial Paralegal) to support the full range of Uber's business lines across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This is a critical role supporting a fast-paced team on operational efficiency, organization, and different types of contracts across our products, platforms, offers, and services. This position will be based in Amsterdam, Uber's EMEA HQ.

What You'll Do

1. Oversee the use and functionality of Docusign CLM, JIRA, Salesforce, and other contracting tools across the region, working with legal and business partners to ensure compliant contracting processes, providing direct assistance where necessary.
2. Maintain and update the team's process documents, internal guidelines, business-facing playbooks, and training materials.
3. Draft, coordinate, review and update standardised legal templates for the EMEA region in English. Assist with localisation for other languages.
4. Assist attorneys in drafting and negotiating contracts with key regional partners, working alongside teams including Procurement, Sourcing, and others
5. Work to increase efficiencies and streamline processes wherever possible, including via facilitating the adoption of GenAI tools or other forms of automation to improve contracting
6. Partner with legal and non-legal stakeholders across the region and around the globe to help the business accomplish its objectives

Basic Qualifications

1. Strong academic credentials and degree from a top university (bachelor's degree or equivalent)
2. Minimum of three (3) years of experience overall in operations and program management
3. Professional fluency in written and spoken English (additional language skills a plus)
4. Experience with contract management platforms and related tools

Preferred Qualifications

1. Paralegal Certification or a strong foundational knowledge of legal concepts, technology, and compliance requirements
2. Strong understanding of the contract lifecycle from request and drafting through execution, renewal, and storage
3. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often involving cross-functional stakeholders
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal or technical concepts into clear, actionable business language
5. Proficiency in Docusign CLM, JIRA, and Salesforce
6. Experience working in a global environment or a technology/high-growth company
7. Exceptional business judgment and ability to work independently to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, constantly evolving global environment
8. Confidence and flexibility to operate in a dynamic, high-growth, and collaborative environment
9. A proven ability to embody the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and accountability, and a \"Go Get It\" attitude about Uber's mission.
