Posting Title: Internship: Project management Intern, Italy, 2026

Help us get ahead of disease together with our Investments Definition team!

Education required: Master's or Bachelor's student or recent graduate in Mechanical, Industrial/Management, or Electrical Engineering.

Other requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of project management
  • Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
  • Effective communication and a strong team-working attitude
  • Flexibility and proactiveness in facing new challenges

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in Italian and English

Expected Start date: March/April 2026

Internship period: 6 months, potentially renewable for another 6 months

What will you do?

The experience we offer within GSK's Global Capital Project team is exactly what you're looking for.

The intern will be included within the company's Project Management function, inside the Global Capital Project group, and will actively support the team in managing and implementing strategically important projects.

What will you learn?

During the internship, the intern will have the opportunity to:
  • Develop an overview of strategic and operational decision-making processes in a global context such as GSK
  • Acquire skills in managing project costs and timelines, and strengthen reporting capabilities
  • Be exposed to real project management situations, improving problem solving and decision making skills

What are we looking for?

Technical Skills Required (and further developed during the internship)
  • Basic knowledge of project management
  • Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint

Soft Skills
  • Organizational skills and priority management
