Win as a Team:
The purpose of this PM role is to manage either the Pillar delivery or the end-to-end project delivery process. You are accountable for working with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed within agreed outcomes and scope (typically cost, time and quality)
The PMs are to work closely with their Pillar Leads and Workstream leads to agree outcomes needed and create and monitor plans to achieve those outcomes. PMs are to work closely with the Programme Director, PMO and other PMs so there is clear accountability for delivery of the Programme outcomes and collaboration between teams.
F&AT sits within the Shared Services portfolio, so there will be responsibilities for periodic updates into the Project Leadership team, Project Steering Committee, as well as Shared Services Portfolio Steering Committee and associated planning, tracking and reporting activities to give visibility of project status.

You'll make an impact by:

• Define and agree Pillar scope and accountabilities to deliver the programme benefits/value. Align required outputs with PMO and Transformation Office required delivery documentation.
• Work with PMO to agree the frameworks, controls standards and governance applicable to the change including business, change and CIO.
• Follow the project methodology (hybrid of waterfall & agile). Manage pillar structure, roles and teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery working within the assigned budget.
• Develop and maintain project plans, manage, monitor and report on the work of pillar teams, following standards set by PMO team. Own the alignment with dependent pillars in order to actively manage dependencies.
• Drive the delivery of the outputs to meet the plan to the agreed timescale, quality and cost criteria
• Undertake quality assurance, making sure project deliverables and outputs enable value to be achieved.
• Follow governance process to agree what needs to be approved through Design Authority / outside of Pillar.

Your skills and experience:

• Proven experience of scoping, planning and estimating, conforming to delivery organisation structures and ways of working set by PMO, or providing feedback to support improvements
• Risk Management - be able to identify, mitigate and track technical, financial, operational and people risks to required cadence. Coaching Pillar or Workstream leads into what good risk & issue management looks like.
• Financial Management - budgets, forecasts, costs and benefits management
• Dependency Management - dynamic role in identifying, aligning and managing dependencies within project, across projects, platforms and portfolios
• Quality Assurance - review and approval of key project deliverables and outputs
• Stakeholder management - experience managing stakeholder relationships and supporting the management of those stakeholders
• Status Reporting - to PMO (and by request / exception Programme Steerco, Portfolio and Enterprise Portfolio forums), including mitigations, impact assessments and other adhoc reporting requirements
