About the role
We are looking for two experienced Project Managers to join our Projects team based at our head office on the Gateshead Quayside.
As a Project Manager, you will work within the Projects team, where you will be responsible for managing and leading project teams to provide comprehensive project management and delivery to Aspire's customers.
You will take full ownership of the planning, resourcing, controlling and implementation of each project, ensuring that all project objectives are met and that projects are delivered within agreed timescales, quality and budgets.
You will manage multiple IT projects in parallel, covering a wide range of technologies. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills, strong customer service skills and excellent communications skills and the ability to drive continual process improvement through your experience on projects you deliver.

Salary
Starting salary, £32,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

You will be based at Aspire's Gateshead office, with travel as required.

What you will be doing
- Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management and engineers.
- Provide oversight and mentorship to the project office teams to grow internal talent so they are ready for the next step in their careers.
- Actively drive the continued development of both your personal learning goals and project process improvements.
- Represent and promote the core values of Aspire throughout any engagement (Both internally and externally).
- Build strong relationships across the projects team engagements.
- Create detailed work project plans that identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete the project. This includes validating the resources required to complete the project.
- Ensure the project is equipped with the appropriate personnel, including 3rd parties.
- Control and monitor the progress of the project, adjusting as necessary to ensure the successful and timely completion of the project to meet revenue and client expectations targets.
- Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
- Evaluate/report lessons learnt within the project and document these for distribution to the PMO management team.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisation and problem solving skills.
- The ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- The ability to seek new opportunities and suggest improvements for efficiencies within the role and/or projects.
- The ability to build productive and inclusive relationships with stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- A full UK driving license.
