• Leading complex projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, then create and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets. Lead the execution of the project through all phases.
• Lead, motivate, and manage project teams, including allocating tasks and responsibilities. Manage all project resources, such as personnel and budget, to optimize performance.
• Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, including clients and senior leadership. Provide regular progress reports, manage expectations, and ensure project goals are clear to all parties.
• Establish and maintain quality standards for project deliverables. Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with best practices and organizational guidelines.
• Ensure the project's goals and outcomes support the organization's strategic objectives.
• Develop overall project timelines and key milestones; ensure teams meet critical dates leveraging Project Management software
• Sets direction and communicates a clear vision of the projects and motivates the project team to achieve them.
• Creating a project environment that enables peak performance by team members: open disclosure of issues, alignment of project goals, coaching to clarify deliverables, escalation procedures, etc.
• Ensuring a strong relationship with the business owner and key stakeholders of the project.
• Ensures that the project is aligned with customer expectations and facilitates project steerco meetings for project decision making and highlighting key updates to the main stakeholders.
• Act as the intermediary between the technical team and non technical stakeholders, including customers and management, to keep everyone informed.
• Facilitate decision-making, arbitrate impasses, remove barriers and ultimately drive projects to completion • Work with team to identify and execute cost savings opportunities
• Coordinates with relevant stakeholders to ensure that appropriate timing, resources, and sequencing of the work efforts are aligned to produce the desired result according to the project schedule.
• Ensure project risks are managed and communicate risks and implications to management as appropriate • Work with team to identify and execute cost savings opportunities
• Organize project activities into manageable work efforts for team members and determine an effective approach to completing the work, as outlined in the project plan
• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, cross-project dependencies, and report on project status within the published schedule
• Conduct post-project evaluations (lessons learned) and implement process improvements based on project outcomes. Mentor and train junior project managers and teams.
Qualification Skills and Experience
• Bachelor in IT or relevant
• Relevance will be reviewed and confirmed by ISD in line with technical competencies of applicant.
• Project Management Institute (PMI), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other IT industry project management certification is required.
Experience
• Overall 10+ years' experience in similar skill set
• Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
• Bilingual Preferred • Excellent Project Management experience
• Experience in managing complex projects including vendor management preferred.
• Experience in using project management tools

• Stakeholder communication: Manage communication with senior leadership, clients, vendors, and other key stakeholders. This includes providing regular status updates and effectively managing expectations.
• Mentorship and guidance: Responsible for coaching and mentoring junior project managers and other project staff.
• Problem-solving: Identifying issues, thinking critically, and developing solutions. • Industry knowledge: Possessing a deep understanding of the specific industry to make informed decisions.
• Adaptability: Adjusting to new technologies, changing requirements, and unexpected situations. • Time management: Planning, scheduling, and keeping projects on track to meet deadlines.
• Conflict resolution: Managing disagreements and fostering a collaborative environment. Address and resolve interpersonal, operational, and technical conflicts that arise within the project team or with stakeholders.
• Budget management: Creating and monitoring project budgets to ensure financial goals are met.
• Risk management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks to the project.
• Project management methodologies: Applying frameworks like Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Proficiency with project management tools: Utilizing software such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or others to track progress and resources
• Change management: Managing changes to the project's scope, schedule, or resources.
• Stakeholder management: Identifying stakeholders and managing their expectations and involvement.
