This role will support delivery by working collaboratively with contractors and colleagues to ensure high-quality replacement, cyclical and improvement works are completed effectively, homes are well maintained, and Asset Management objectives are achieved.
You will support the delivery of major works programmes, ensuring contractors meet key performance indicators and comply with Health and Safety legislation, while taking the lead on smaller value projects. The role includes undertaking site inspections and handovers to maintain high quality standards, working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure clear and timely communication, and contributing to the development of technical specifications and tender documentation. You will also ensure corrective action is taken where performance falls short, maintain accurate records, and uphold high levels of customer service throughout project delivery.

The team
Our Homes Team make sure customers' homes are well maintained by carrying out repairs, maintenance, and gas servicing... They are very important people!
In the team, there are multi-trades people, electricians, ground workers, roofers, gas engineers, plumbers, and joiners, plus general labourers and apprentices. There is also a team of planners and administrative colleagues who keep the show on the road by booking in all the work and making sure our trades colleagues have everything they need to get the job done. Together the Homes Team makes up nearly a third of our whole workforce!
Our customer satisfaction rating is consistently rated as 'excellent' and our Homes Team gets more compliments than any other team! The Homes Team were winners of the One Team One Dream Award at our colleague awards in 2020 for their commitment and fantastic teamwork.

We need people who have:
- Construction / Building Maintenance / Asset Management industry experience
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
- Experience of managing workloads, prioritising issues and achieving targets
- Client-facing experience with strong communication and customer service skills
- IT literate, including use of asset management systems and Excel
- Ability to work on own initiative while building effective internal and external relationships

- Spend around £7 million repairing and maintaining our customers' homes
- Carry out 20,000 repairs
- Complete 5,500 gas services
- Turnaround 350 empty homes so they are in a good condition to re-let
