Senior Project Manager

Location: Agrate Brianza, Italy

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior PMO Leader to drive structured recovery execution following recent customer quality concerns. This role will act as the central program authority coordinating across five internal cross-functional teams and serving as the primary reporting interface to the end customer.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership presence, executive communication skills, structured program governance expertise, and a solid background in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Program Recovery Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end recovery program governance following quality escalations.
  • Develop and own the integrated recovery roadmap aligned to customer commitments.
  • Define clear milestones, accountability matrices, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Drive alignment across 5 internal teams (Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Operations).
  • Ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are tracked and executed.
  • Facilitate structured weekly governance reviews and escalation forums.
  • Customer Interface & Reporting
  • Act as single point of accountability for program progress updates to the end customer.
  • Present KPI dashboards, recovery milestones, and risk mitigation status.
  • Ensure transparency, data integrity, and timely communication.
  • KPI & Performance Management
  • Define and monitor program KPIs (Yield improvement, DPPM, On-Time Delivery, Cycle Time, etc.).
  • Track recovery progress against baseline metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives tied to measurable outcomes.
  • Executive Communication
  • Provide structured status reporting to senior leadership.
  • Prepare executive summaries and customer-facing dashboards.
  • Escalate risks proactively with mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Program Management / PMO roles within semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
  • Proven experience managing customer escalations or quality recovery programs.
  • Strong stakeholder management across global, matrix organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership presence and influencing capability.
  • Proficiency in KPI tracking tools and reporting frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP Certification (PMI) strongly preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Experience working with Tier-1 automotive or industrial semiconductor customers.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (Fab, Assembly, Test).
  • Familiarity with quality frameworks (8D, Six Sigma, IATF 16949).
