The Marketing & Commercial Operations team is responsible for the entire commercial value chain of consumer and small business customers in the Netherlands. Our focus is on acquiring new customers, retaining existing customers, and cross- and upselling electricity, gas, and energy-related products and services. We believe in approaching the right customer with the right message and offer, at the right time, through the right channel-maximizing both customer satisfaction and commercial results.
Objective of the Assignment
Develop a strong, creative, out-of-the-box acquisition plan to recruit new customers. Identify opportunities, apply them to our organizational context, and deploy new initiatives to achieve acquisition goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive, creative acquisition plan from the full breadth of the marketing mix
- Identify (new) growth segments and channel initiatives
- Drive relevant proposition development and explore collaboration opportunities
- Optimize conversion opportunities through data-driven performance marketing
- Challenge existing organizational approaches and current initiatives
- Ensure operational readiness for handover to the acquisition team (11 FTE)
- Deliver actionable recommendations based on customer insights, competitor analysis, and organizational strengths/weaknesses assessment
Required Profile

Essential Experience & Skills:
- ~10 years of work experience as a Senior Marketing Manager in strategic marketing and/or sales in a B2C environment
- Proven track record in corporate organizations within a similar field
- Demonstrated expertise in developing strong commercial plans focused on new customer acquisition
- Strong analytical skills for SWOT assessment (organizational strengths/weaknesses market opportunities/threats)
- Deep expertise in data-driven performance marketing, campaign optimization, and effective personalization/targeting
- Sales-oriented mindset with proven ability to manage results, drive sales intention, and continuously renew sales activities
- Experience stimulating employees in a data-driven, learning (corporate) organization
- Languages: Excellent command of Dutch and English (written and spoken)
- Experience in the energy sector
- Solution-oriented and proactive approach
