As GRAHAM continues to strengthen its presence across Scotland, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of major construction developments.
You will play a key role in managing day-to-day operations, leading multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Leadership & Coordination
Lead on-site teams, subcontractors, and partners to support smooth project delivery
Plan, coordinate, and execute project phases and milestones
Manage site resources effectively to maintain productivity
Promote a collaborative, positive, and proactive site culture
• Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure full compliance with GRAHAM's Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures
Monitor site activities to maintain high standards of workmanship and regulatory compliance
Support the implementation of company policies and best practice standards
• Project Delivery & Reporting
Track progress against programme, budget, and performance expectations
Provide clear and timely reporting to senior management
Assist with procurement activities and cost management alongside the commercial team
Oversee subcontractor performance to ensure alignment with project objectives
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and design teams
Participate in meetings and contribute to problem-solving and progress discussions
Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Essential Criteria
Demonstrable experience managing construction projects of comparable scale and complexity
Strong technical understanding of construction processes, safety legislation, and quality control
Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to motivate and coordinate teams effectively
Competency in project planning, monitoring, and reporting tools
Strong commitment to health & safety, sustainability, and client service
Desirable Criteria
Experience working within the Scottish construction market
Background in Residential, Student Accommodation, Commercial, or related sectors
Professional qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid)
Experience with digital construction and project management platforms (e.g., Asta Powerproject, CDEs)
Previous experience with Tier 1 contractors or large-scale developments
Knowledge of modern construction methods and sustainability practices
