As Temporary Project Manager / Medical Writer, you will join the Scientific Publications department of EHA. In this role you will support the guidelines portfolio, a team dedicated to the development, revision, and dissemination of EHA clinical and scientific guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and support projects related to the development, revision, and dissemination of EHA clinical and scientific guidelines.
  • Support guideline working groups and chairs, ensuring efficient planning, follow-up, and adherence to agreed timelines.
  • Act as liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, including guideline authors and other experts.
  • Perform medical and scientific editing of guideline documents and related materials, ensuring clarity, consistency, and scientific accuracy.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of guideline-related workflows and processes.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day coordination of activities within the guidelines program.

  • Salary range: €4,400-€6,400, gross per month (based on full-time, 40 hours/week).

  • University degree or PhD in medicine, life sciences, biomedical sciences, or a related discipline.
  • At least 4 years experience in project coordination or project management within a medical, scientific, or guideline-focused environment desired. No formal project management certification is required.
  • At least 4 years of Demonstrated experience in medical/scientific writing and editing; background in hematology, oncology or immunology is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with guidelines or regulatory development processes is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication of written and spoken English.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international and multidisciplinary environment.

  • Non-EU/EEA nationals must possess a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
  • Employment will be subject to the dissolving condition that the employee provides the employer with a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) within eight weeks of the commencement date of their employment.
