Finance Domestic Bank is responsible for the financial accounting and statutory/regulatory reporting of all Retail activities in ING's home market, with a Balance Sheet of 200 billion euros and is responsible for 40% of ING's worldwide profit. The Financial Accounting tribe aims at finding the balance between high speed to continuously deliver on all regulatory changes and an efficient and up-to-standard way of working to process vast data sets according to strict IFRS and ECB rules.
About the team
You will work at Information Management, a team part of the Financial Accounting Tribe working on changes on ING NL Finance landscape. The team is composed of Change Experts acting as Business Architects, Business Analysts or Project Managers on change projects related to NL Financial Accounting and Management Accounting, and interacting with stakeholders within domestic and group Finance, as well as other Business Lines.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Project Manager in Information Management within ING Domestic Bank Finance, you will take end-to-end ownership of complex change initiatives that directly impact financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and control of ING's financials in the Netherlands. Operating at the heart of the Finance landscape, you will lead cross-functional Finance project streams involving Finance, Business Lines, and Group stakeholders, translating reporting, regulatory and strategic requirements into concrete, executable delivery plans. You are accountable for scope, planning, dependencies, risks, and governance, while ensuring that control frameworks and compliance requirements are embedded by design. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine strong delivery leadership with deep Finance and regulatory impact in a highly data-driven and continuously evolving environment.

- executing the initiation of projects, interacting with NL Finance, NL Business Lines, Group Finance to determine perimeter, dependencies, capacity requirements and plausible roadmaps
- overseeing planning, execution, and completion of projects
- identifying and solving impediments
- facilitating meetings with stakeholders to align on objectives
- reporting progress, and risks to key stakeholders and senior management
- ensuring compliance to the required control frameworks are part of the project deliverables
How to Succeed

- experience in dealing with stakeholders in all levels of the organization
- affinity and experience with big change programs and process improvements, and a passion to innovate
- a strong customer focus
- prior work experience in a banking environment
- a Master's degree in finance, management, data science or a comparable field
