We're looking for an experienced Industrial Project Manager to support our UK & Ireland sites with engineering expertise, driving safe, efficient and high-quality operations. You'll work closely with site teams and suppliers to enhance equipment performance, lead technical investigations, and deliver continuous improvement projects across multiple locations.

Your Mission at Elis

Key Responsibilities

• Support Engineering Managers to identify and implement practical engineering solutions.
• Provide occasional hands-on engineering support during urgent equipment issues.
• Partner with suppliers to deliver technical improvements focused on productivity, reliability, safety, quality and ergonomics.
• Lead investigations into equipment failures, safety risks, near misses and incidents.
• Deliver innovation projects and support automation initiatives across sites.
• Contribute to annual investment planning by preparing equipment specifications.
• Provide technical guidance to Group Maintenance services.
• Complete monthly reviews covering:
  • Planned maintenance standards
  • Breakdown analysis
  • Engineering management standards
  • Compliance with policies and safety standards
  • Training needs and best-practice sharing

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lead, coach and motivate teams.
• Able to work autonomously and drive positive change.
• Financial understanding including budgeting and forecasting.

Education & Experience

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance or production environments.
• Hands-on operational maintenance experience (preferred).
• Degree or NVQ Level 5 in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement programmes.
• Background in energy and sustainability management (essential).
• NEBOSH qualification (desirable).
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing systems (desirable).
• Bilingual skills are an advantage but not essential.
