Role description
We are looking for a motivated early-career project manager to support our work as a leader in subsurface characterization. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing consulting projects and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. The project manager should have skills in business, management, budgeting and analysis. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks and be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude. The project manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, delivering accurate insights into services revenue and forecasting. In this role, you will report to the Global Services Manager of GeoSoftware. This position is based in the UK or The Netherlands.

Duties and Responsibilities
As a project manager, you will coordinate people and processes to ensure that our service projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for all aspects involving the project's health and timeline. The duties and responsibilities are not limited to:
• Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the service project lifecycle, identifying schedules, scope, budget estimation, implementation plans, and project risk.
• Ensure developing a detailed project plan to effectively track progress
• Coordinate internal resources, and ensure resource availability and allocation for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in business-related or technical field
• 1 - 3 years' experience in project management
• Proven success working with all levels of management
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Desired:
• Experience in the energy sector or similar with business acumen skills
• Knowledge of Odoo as a CRM system and Celoxis as a project management solution is a plus
• PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus

Travel:
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally.
• Working remotely could be an option.
