The Head of Department is Professor Belinda Lennox.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Manager to lead the operational delivery of the Baseline Biomarker Check (BBC) Programme - a multi-modal clinical research platform embedded within NHS Early Intervention Services.

The post is available on a flexible hybrid basis. The minimum on-site time is 2 days per week.

About the Role

The post is part-time (80% FTE) and funded until 29 February 2028. It is based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital.

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, you will be responsible for strategic coordination, regulatory compliance, financial oversight, and cross-site integration of a multi-modal clinical research platform embedded within NHS Early Intervention Services.

You will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of the programme across imaging, bio-sampling, data collection, and external laboratory partnerships.

About You

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent experience. You will have substantial project management experience in delivering complex, clinical research studies within NHS settings. Experience in managing complex research budgets and service agreements along with regulatory compliance (HRA, REC, Sponsor processes) is essential. You will have proven ability to lead and influence multi-disciplinary teams, whether through line management or matrix structures.

Experience managing biomarker, imaging, or laboratory-based studies and working across NHS-University partnerships would be desirable.
