We are a fully accredited independent Connection Provider, able to design and build all connections in the UK across all Distribution Network Operator (DNO) areas, from Low Voltage up to 132kV renewable generation connections.
eSmart Networks was created to respond to the UK's need for charging infrastructure as the transition from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles gathers pace, and has since broadened its services to provide grid connection solutions and renewable energy infrastructure.

eSmart Networks is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of multiple projects safely, on time, and on budget. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will collaborate across Health & Safety, Electrical, Pre-Construction, and Commercial teams to ensure operational excellence and strong customer relationships
What you will be doing
- Manage multiple projects from planning to delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and budget compliance.
- Support the Senior Operations Manager in developing the Operations department and offerings.
- Monitor schedules, resources, and subcontractor performance to meet project goals.
- Promote a positive Health & Safety culture across all teams.
- Liaise with developers, contractors, highway agencies, and other stakeholders to build strong relationships.
- Analyse performance data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
What we are looking for
- Proven operational management experience in utilities, construction, or developer sectors.
- Previous supervisory or management experience.
- Relevant certifications: NRSWA, SMSTS/SSSTS, EUSR or CSCS.
- Strong Health & Safety knowledge and commitment.
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work proactively, solve problems, and maintain first-class customer service.
- IT proficient, including Microsoft Office and report writing.
