SR Project Manager - PMC

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Senior Project Manager (PMC) to lead the delivery of a major low-rise residential and infrastructure development in Abu Dhabi, with a project value exceeding AED 1 billion. The role requires strong leadership across project management, construction supervision, client engagement, and commercial delivery to ensure the successful execution of large-scale community developments and associated infrastructure works.

This position demands a proactive and hands-on leader with strong experience in PMC environments, capable of managing complex stakeholder interfaces, driving performance across multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring successful delivery within time, cost, and quality constraints.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Act as the PMC lead for a major low-rise residential and infrastructure development project in Abu Dhabi.
• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of approximately 9 professionals, promoting collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
• Oversee the Construction Supervision Consultant and coordinate activities across multiple contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple construction packages with complex interfaces, ensuring adherence to approved schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards.
• Support the implementation of robust project management systems, including planning, reporting, risk management, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure effective coordination between design, construction, and supervision teams to maintain seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress and provide timely reports, highlighting risks, delays, and mitigation actions.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, project governance frameworks, and client standards.
• Assist in managing commercial and contractual matters, including change control and claims avoidance.
• Support client engagement activities and participate in project and progress meetings.
• Promote a proactive, solution-oriented approach to resolving project issues and maintaining delivery momentum.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in infrastructure and/or low-rise residential development projects.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced, complex project environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Solid understanding of project management tools, contract administration, and construction standards.
• Ability to make informed decisions under pressure while maintaining focus on project objectives.

What Desired Skills Youll Bring:

• Experience working on major developments in the UAE, particularly Abu Dhabi, is preferred.
• Strong PMC experience on large-scale, high-value projects (AED 1 billion+ preferred).
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contractual frameworks.
• Hands-on leadership style with strong team engagement and motivation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with international construction practices and PMC delivery models.
• Experience in construction supervision and consultancy environments is highly desirable.
