Wilhelmsen Ship Management (WSM) is looking for a Project Manager

Location: Lysaker, Kuala Lumpur | Type: Full-time, Hybrid

WSM is looking for a Project Manager who will play a central role in delivering initiatives that strengthen processes, enable digital solutions, and support our strategic priorities.

About the role:

As Project Manager, you will lead the initiation, planning, execution, and delivery of selected initiatives within the WSM project portfolio. Many of the projects are connected to finance and accounting processes, but the role also requires end-to-end coordination across Technology & IT, ERP teams, and operational functions.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure projects are delivered effectively, create measurable business value, and contribute to continuous improvement across WSM.

The position reports to the CFO, WSM, and involves close collaboration with global and regional teams, including Technology & IT, Finance, ERP and digital solution owners, business divisions, and project sponsors.

What you will be doing:

• Lead and deliver projects within the WSM portfolio, managing scope, timelines, resources, risks, budgets, and ensuring alignment with project management methodologies and governance standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across Technology & IT, Finance, ERP teams, and operational functions to drive aligned project execution and effective stakeholder engagement.
• Facilitate workshops, discussions, and decision-making processes to support project progress and prioritization of improvement and digitalization initiatives.
• Define and track project objectives, KPIs, and benefit realization metrics while maintaining clear project documentation and reporting.
• Contribute to the development and strengthening of WSM PMO processes, tools, templates, and reporting standards to promote consistent ways of working.
• Support functions in developing and maintaining project and improvement roadmaps across the organization.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses, business cases, and feasibility assessments to support business improvement, digitalization, and selected strategic initiatives.

Who you are:

• Master's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or similar
• 3-5 years of experience in project management, business improvement, or related roles within a global or matrixed organization
• Proven track record of delivering initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills
• Structured, proactive, and self-driven working style
• Ability to lead and influence without formal authority
• Fluency in written and spoken English
