We have been named a partner on a new AMP8 framework with United Utilities, which will extend our relationship for at least the next five years. The partnership is set to be responsible for over £3bn of major infrastructure in the North West of England. Investment includes upgrades to wastewater treatment works and reducing storm overflows through the delivery of the largest spill reduction programme in the UK, protecting more than 500km of rivers and bathing waters.

As one of the Project Managers you will oversee allocated phases of project delivery on a new £160m MBR treatment process investment in Eccles, Greater Manchester. Whilst being part of the overall Enterprise framework delivery team. You will work closely with our in-house design and engineering teams, driving collaboration and innovation across the project lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone with a strong civils background who thrives on leading teams and delivering complex infrastructure solutions that make a real difference to our clients and communities we serve. This site-based role will report directly into the Operations Manager.

The role of a Project Manager includes:
  • Leading the safe planning and delivery of civils infrastructure
  • Managing project programmes, budgets, riskregistersand reporting
  • Overseeing site activities to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Managing subcontractors and supply chain partners to ensure efficient delivery
  • Building andmaintainingstrong client relationships
  • Driving continuous improvement and promoting best practice across the project team

What you'll need:
  • CSCS, SSSTS/ SMSTS
  • HNC / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Understand civil engineering principles and practices
  • Knowledge of NEC3 or 4,OptionA forms of contract
  • Programme managementawareness and administration towardsMSP or P6, feeding into the project planner
  • Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong capability in managing change through structured governance.
  • Effective at managing risks and opportunities to deliver the best results.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region
