Join SSE's Smart Buildings team and help bring intelligent, energyefficient building solutions to life. This role blends hands-on technical delivery of BMS systems with the opportunity to manage contractors delivering specialist packages such as Power Management Systems (PMS) and ICT solutions.You'llwork across the full project lifecycle,from design and installation to commissioning and handover - ensuring our customers receive highquality systems that perform exactly as intended.

Whatyou'llbe doing
- Delivering Smart Buildings projectsend-to-end, reviewing specifications, designing solutions, coordinating installationactivitiesand supporting commissioning.
- Managing specialist contractor packages on relevant projects-liaising between site requirements, programmetimelinesand subcontractor teams to ensureaccurateand safe delivery.
- Interpreting wiring diagrams, controlstrategiesand technical documentation to ensure systems meet customer expectations andoperateeffectively.
- Monitoring finances at a project level and supporting forecasting, budgeting andcost-to-completeupdates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Acting as the customer's main point of contact for yourallocatedprojects, ensuring clear communication, issueresolutionand a positive experience throughout delivery.
Whatwe'relooking for
- Technical experience in building controls, BEMS, electrical engineering, SCADA,PMSor similar project environments.
- Strong coordination skills, with confidence working between site teams,subcontractorsand specialist suppliers to keep activities aligned.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as wiring diagrams,specificationsand control logic.
- Commercial awareness - including experience managing budgets, tracking projectperformanceand responding to variances.
- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, commissioning teams,contractorsand customers.
