Project Manager / Programme Manager (German-speaking)

We are seeking a German-speaking Project / Programme Manager with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery experience to drive complex initiatives across IT and cloud-enabled environments. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in both Waterfall and Agile delivery models and will play a key role in leading projects through planning, execution, governance, and closure.

This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, the ability to manage ambiguity, and confidence in engaging with senior and challenging stakeholders.

The Role:

Lead and drive project and programme delivery, taking ownership of requirements, milestones, risks, and outcomes

Engage and manage senior and complex stakeholders, navigating conflict and negotiations while maintaining strong working relationships

Identify, manage, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation and resolution

Develop and maintain project and programme artefacts, including plans, RAID logs, governance documentation, and status reporting

Chair and contribute to project reviews, steering committees, and governance forums

Support the acquisition or delivery of critical project components and strategic initiatives

Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, time, cost, and quality expectations

What you will bring:

Fluent German language skills with excellent verbal and written communication (mandatory)

Minimum of 8 years experience delivering projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies

Strong leadership capability, with the ability to take ownership and drive delivery end-to-end

Demonstrated conflict management and negotiation skills, particularly with senior or difficult stakeholders

Experience managing complex issues and risks through to resolution

High level of emotional intelligence (EQ) and interpersonal awareness

Strong project management and organisational skills, with attention to detail and structured execution

Solid understanding of IT environments, with exposure to AWS / cloud-based platforms

Proficient in project management tools and software

Nice to Have:

Formal Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certification)

Experience delivering projects within enterprise or regulated environments
