Technical Project Manager

Department: Engineering

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: London, UK

Description

Markets never sleep and at White Swan Data we analyse markets 24/7, 365 days a year. As we continue to expand our footprint across exchange platforms and prediction markets, we are seeking a motivated project manager to fuel and structure our next phase of development.

This is a rare opportunity to join a team in its early stages, where many of the processes, tools, and ways of working are still being defined. You will play a key role not just in delivering projects, but in shaping how the team operates as it scales.

Project management plays a critical role in ensuring our technical teams deliver quickly, effectively, and with clarity in a complex, fast-moving trading environment. You will get the opportunity to work with our technical teams (Software Developers & Mathematicians/Quants), help them build infrastructure and maintain momentum across their projects whilst driving and maintaining high standards.

Ideally applicants will have a minimum 3+ years' experience as a Technical Project Manager, although we will consider applications from highly motivated, well organised and eager junior project managers. Some experience in any role within technical projects is a must, with gambling or trading experience a significant plus.

This is an office-based role where you will be expected to be in our London office 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities
  • As the Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for owning and driving project roadmaps across multiple technical initiatives.
  • Work with leadership to translate business priorities into clear, actionable project plans.
  • Identify and remove blockers to keep teams moving quickly.
  • You will coordinate resources across teams to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Working closely with our diverse teams, including engineering, quants, business development, data science, and trading, to foster cooperation and synergy, enabling the prioritisation and timely delivery of projects.
  • You will oversee the delivery of business-critical technical infrastructure, projects and liaise with all stakeholders across the business.
  • Manage risk across the technology work streams on both short and longer-term horizons.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 3+ years working within Project Management.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and backend systems.
  • Previous experience of working closely with a software team and mapping out technical requirements.
  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Benefits
  • Salary depending on experience.
  • Annual discretionary performance bonus.
  • 25 days holiday per annum, plus UK bank holidays.
  • Private health & dental insurance.
  • Optical cover through Aviva.
  • Pension plan.
  • Gympass membership to over 1900 gyms and wellness businesses.
  • Breakfast bought in everyday and lunch bought in twice a week
  • Free coffee & snacks at the office.
  • Regular team events & socials.
