YOUR TASKS

As Project Manager Customs and Trade, you lead and support strategic initiatives related to customs and international trade compliance. You help expand and professionalize the Customs and Trade division while supporting multiple industries and customers.
• Developing innovative foreign trade and customs solutions for customers
• Identifying technical and systemic customer requirements and translating them into tailored solutions
• Leading (sub-)projects for onboarding and implementing new customer business
• Building and expanding the Customs & Trade division within Arvato
• Facilitating conceptual discussions with business, logistics, transport, and IT stakeholders
You will report to the Head of Customs & Trade and work closely with Operations, IT, Finance, and external authorities. The role requires national travel to customer and Arvato locations.

YOUR PROFILE

We're looking for a strategic and analytical Project Manager with strong affinity for customs and international trade.
• Completed degree in economics, tax law, business administration, economics, public law, business informatics, or comparable discipline
• First professional or project management experience is an advantage, ideally in customs, tax, or consulting
• Strong IT affinity (databases, SAP customizing, system integration, or digital solutions)
• Business fluent English (written and spoken)
• Structured, proactive, and independent working style
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel internationally
