Are you experienced in delivering change within Telecommunications and/or IT environments, and understand the distinctive regulatory, security and operational challenges they bring?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to play a key role in delivering change across JT. This role sits at the heart of our IT and Telecommunications landscape, leading projects that enable growth, resilience and innovation across the business.

You will work on multiple projects ranging from the delivery of new IT and Telco technologies and products, through to regulatory and security-based initiatives. These projects are fundamental to the successful growth of JT and delivery of our strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery, planning and management of all elements of project delivery from initiation through to closure
• Manage project budgets, plans, timelines, requirements, resources, scope, testing and quality
• Create and maintain all required project documentation
• Work closely with technical specialists to ensure business requirements are effectively translated into technical IT and Telco solutions
• Ensure quality standards are maintained across all projects
• Ensure successful implementations meet the needs of JT customers and the wider business
• Manage project resources to ensure timely completion of tasks and delivery

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering complex, cross-functional change, ideally within Telecommunications and/or IT environments
• Understanding of the challenges, dependencies and requirements associated with delivering projects in regulated, security-conscious technical landscapes
• Strong knowledge of the full project management lifecycle and different delivery methodologies
• Experience creating project approval papers, business cases and comprehensive project documentation
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects from initiation through detailed planning, execution and handover
• Proven ability to negotiate, influence and engage senior stakeholders, balancing competing priorities and objectives
