Vallourec is looking for an HR Data project manager in order to contribuate to the deployment of Vallourec Group's Data strategy and to the enhancement of data in business decision-making processes.
The role involves mapping, documenting, modeling and exploiting data to support business objectives.

The position requires close collaboration with multiple internal teams : architecture teams, security, engineering and Analytics Teams, Data Governance Office and Business Data Stewards accross countries.

The main mission :

  • Ensure the application of architecture guidelines as well as HR Data Governance standards and rules.

  • Oversee the entire HR data domain, guaranteeing the quality, accuracy, reliability, and availability of the HR Data Catalog.

  • Define the rules, formats, and methodologies for HR-related quality KPIs (e.g., turnover rate, time-to-hire, employee engagement).

  • Align all HR data products with the corporate data strategy and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, LGPD).

  • Prioritize and approve items in the HR data product backlog, ensuring they meet business objectives and deliver value.

  • Lead communication with stakeholders, translating HR business needs into clear and actionable data product specifications.

  • Validate and enforce HR data quality standards across all systems, platforms, and reporting environments.

The main responsabilities :

  • Identifies and collects relevant data by cross-referencing different sources (files, databases, etc.), then orient to prepare them (cleaning, structuring) to ensure usability.

  • Accountable for maintaining the quality, consistency, and documentation of data. Manages the data catalog, glossary, and metadata, ensuring that information is accurate, accessible, and compliant with corporate standards.

  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting Quality KPIs.

  • Uses and adapts models and algorithms to cross, analyze, and enhance data.

  • Qualifies data sources and specifies data flows.

  • Integrates user / data team feedback and technological developments in a continuous improvement approach for data products.

  • Seek for innovative solutions.

Profile :

  • You have 10 years experiences

  • Fluency in English is essential to operate effectively in an international environment.

  • French or Portuguese is a plus, facilitating communication with regional teams and partners.

Technical skills required :

  • Knowledge in Data Analytics experience

  • Project Management (waterfall & Agile)

  • Modeling tools / data modeling / data governance

Soft skills required :

  • Organized and methodical

Travel frequency & Locations: Occasional trips to Bresil and US (3 times per year)

Our recruitment process:
The recruitment process consists of three steps:

1/ An initial interview via videoconference with a Talent Acquisition Manager to introduce Vallourec and discuss your background and motivations.

2/ A videoconference or in-person interview with the direct manager.

3/ A third interview via videoconference or in-person with the N+2 and/or a peer.

This process may vary depending on the position and geographic scope. An in-person interview is always included.
