About this vacancy

At TMC, as a Project Manager, you get the opportunity to work on innovative projects in sectors such as mechanical engineering, High Tech, Space, and the offshore industry. You serve as the link between technology, the client, and the team to ensure the entire process (from the concept phase to realization) runs smoothly. To achieve this, your day-to-day responsibilities include: - Leading multidisciplinary engineering projects (from start to finish); - Managing project teams and monitoring planning, budget, and quality; - Translating customer requirements into technical solutions; - Acting as a (technical) sparring partner for clients and colleagues; - Continuously improving processes.

What we expect from you

In addition to a completed MSc in Mechanical Engineering (or a comparable background) and at least 5 years of relevant experience in a technical project management role within a complex technical environment, you have experience with project methodologies (such as IPMA or Prince2) and possess the following qualities: - Proactive work attitude: you independently take initiative and explore the boundaries of technical possibilities; - Strong communication skills: you can effectively and clearly convey your ideas in both Dutch and English, to both internal and external stakeholders; - Entrepreneurial and creative: you not only focus on what you do, but also consider the bigger picture and consistently seek ways to improve; - Variety and diversity: you thrive on working on different projects and seek technical challenges rather than avoiding them; - Stronger together: you have the drive to help others and feel engaged with the TMC team.
