As part of the Telco Services team at Red Hat, the Project Manager is an integral part of a delivery-focused organization responsible for planning and executing professional services engagements across the telecom sector in the Middle East and Africa region. We work with geographically distributed customers, partners, and internal teams spanning Sales, Delivery, Engineering, Finance, and Legal. As a Project Manager, you are the subject matter expert in project management standards and practices, applying your skills and experience to drive delivery excellence and foster collaboration across all engagement stakeholders. You help motivate teams, drive accountability on commitments and deliverables, and support continuous improvement in how we deliver.
We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Telco Services team. As part of our team, you'll partner with customer-facing and internal organizations within Red Hat to facilitate project delivery and motivate teams to achieve program goals.
We're looking for a leader to steward customer engagements and transformational services delivery by providing clear direction and structure to projects. You'll be responsible for planning, governance, and overseeing the successful delivery of services engagements across the Telco customer base. You'll help teams execute efficiently, working as a facilitator and motivator, and set shared milestones. You'll manage cross-team collaboration and delivery status across multiple concurrent projects. You'll communicate with stakeholders at different levels - from customer project leads to internal leadership - to promote collaboration and coordination. You'll track and report delivery status and monitor achievement of project milestones and commitments.

What you will do:
- Own end-to-end project delivery for Telco Services engagements, including scope definition, work planning, milestone tracking, and successful closure
- Maintain steady delivery momentum in complex, fast-moving telco customer environments with shifting priorities and tight timelines
- Collaborate with delivery architects and consultants to manage customer expectations, requirements, and delivery commitments, yielding consistent results
- Ensure project scope, deliverables, and timelines remain aligned with customer contractual commitments and Red Hat business priorities
- Manage project financials across assigned Telco Services engagements, including revenue recognition tracking, cost monitoring, forecast accuracy, and timely reporting of project P&L to the Telco Services lead.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and interdependencies across active Telco Services engagements
- Manage stakeholder communication across customer, partner, and internal Red Hat teams; promote transparency and proactive coordination throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Lead cross-functional meetings and foster teamwork; drive escalation and resolution of issues
- Apply expertise in professional services delivery to support planning, execution, and governance of Telco Services projects and initiatives
- Provide regular delivery status reporting to the Telco Services lead and relevant senior stakeholders, including escalation of risks and blockers
- Develop resourcing strategies to ensure optimum support for projects and for the day-to-day operational activities
What you will bring

- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels

- Ability to innovate under new and/or changing conditions

- Virtual and remote team leadership capability
- Must have demonstrated leadership ability, business acumen, and industry knowledge
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
- More than 5+ years of project/program management experience, including large-scale complex projects, large portfolios OR equivalent management experience
- Experience working with project and portfolio management tools
- Bachelor's in engineering, computer science, information technology, management or related field (Master's preferred)
- Project management certification or program management certification are a plus
