You'll guide engineering, procurement, and delivery processes from specification through to site handover, ensuring every item arrives on time, on budget and ready to support our critical project milestones.

What you'll be doing
We need you to:
- Lead the planning, procurement, delivery and handover of Long Lead Items in alignment with project requirements.
- Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, planning and regulatory teams to identify LLI needs and ensure supply chain readiness.
- Build strong relationships with CEZ (our customer) and support their interactions with the Czech nuclear regulator (SUJB).
- Manage a small team (typically 2-4 project managers/APMs), providing mentorship, coaching and direction.
- Drive on-time, on-cost delivery across multiple work packages while ensuring alignment with the wider Temelin programme.
- Oversee project reporting, risk management, financial forecasting and planning activities.
- Create a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure compliance with internal project management processes, governance, and quality standards.
What you'll need to be successful

Key experience
- Proven experience managing complex engineering projects, ideally in nuclear or other highly regulated environments.
- Experience delivering high-integrity or long-lead plant items.
- Strong programme-level experience: managing multiple packages, complex dependencies and senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver £10m-£30m p.a. portfolios.
- Experience in contract management using a variety of contract forms.
- Line management experience, ideally leading a team of 2-4 project managers.
Technical skills
- Knowledge of engineering principles relevant to complex plant equipment.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, ARM, SAP, Excel, Power BI and Power Apps (training available).
- Understanding of regulatory environments-experience with UK or international nuclear regulation is beneficial but not essential.

- Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex topics for a diverse range of stakeholders.

Training & Qualifications
- Engineering degree or significant engineering project management experience.
- Project Management qualification (e.g., APM PMQ or equivalent), or substantial experience.
- Professional body membership is advantageous.
Reward & Benefits
- Salary: £60,000 - £78,750
- Benefits Allowance: £2,200
- Bonus: Up to 12.5%
- Pension: Standard Rolls-Royce SMR pension

- New joiner payment: £250
- Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week with flexible and part-time options
- Location: Any RR-SMR site (with hybrid working available) plus some international site visits required
